All Praise to Thee, My God, This Night — words

Hello choristers! Here are the words to the anthem for the Sept. 27th Interfaith Service. I know most of you have the first verse down pretty well, but we want all the verses to sound just as strong. (Remember there is a men’s verse after the first verse–I did not include it.)

All praise to Thee, my God, this night,
For all the blessings of the light;
Keep me, O keep me, King of kings,
Beneath Thine own almighty wings.

O may my soul on Thee repose,
And with sweet sleep mine eyelids close;
Sleep that shall me more vigorous make
To serve my God when I awake.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.

We are coming along on schedule with the music for that program, so no worries there! We will see the music for the Investiture Mass in the next day or so. Keep up the good work! 🙂
